A comic was that what I am suppose to read? That was the first question that came to mind when I first started reading La Perdida. When trying to follow this novel it was very difficult, I have never read comics before and didn't know how to follow it. I feel that the comic features gave the novel more interest when I found the actual content very predictable. I did not like the form this novel was in, but I was exciting to read just because it was so different.

I had a difficult time in the beginning too, but it was kind of nice to experience a different form of writing that I probably would have never picked up for myself.
